Wrap the string around your head, positioned above your ears & eyebrows - Imagine that the hat is sitting where you’re holding the string.

Find the end point by pinching the string where it wraps back around to meet at the starting point.

Measure the length of the string from starting point to end point against a ruler and note the measurement.
